Lady and the Romany Rye

I have thought many times about writing a book. It seems so quite extraordinary, to me still, that I have been able to write a book and get it published. My name is Suzanah, and I have a traditional Romany-Gypsy family on my Dad's side, and a Gorger (non-Romany-Gypsy) family on my Mum's. My parents were certainly from two different worlds, yet through loyalty, love and respect they fit together perfectly in a lifelong loving marriage.

I feel that their loving marriage is a testimony that discrimination exists when there is a lack of compassion, respect and understanding. I am very proud to have written my memoir the Lady (my mum) and the Romany-rye (my Dad - the Gypsy gentleman).
