In the Peligna Valley, there is a poor understanding of Romanization as a phenomenon. The state of the documentation is very substantial but it is fragmentary and unsystematic in large parts. This book examines the most significant discoveries and studies in the Sagittarius valley and Peligna Dell from the beginning of the modern era to the present time. The theme of Romanizationis is introduced and defined from an historical point of view and the methodology that is followed is looked at, examining the advantages and limitations involved.
