Giulia Daneo Lorimer was born in Switzerland and spent her childhood in Bulgaria, from which she was forced to flee with the latest Orient-Express. She got married in the United States and the couple then got back to Italy. Her home in Tuscany has been for years a meeting point for musicians, poets and artists from all over the world: this climate gave birth to the Whisky Trail, the famous Italian band devoted to Irish folk music.
