Kings and Cowboys

The date is May 1966. Will is a typical seventeen-year-old who works on ranches in the summer. He daydreams about muscle cars, chasing girls, poker games, and guzzling a few beers. He's also a fearless champion wrestler from a small Wyoming town and an aspiring Golden Gloves boxer. On track to learn a construction trade after graduation and with a steady girlfriend, he's riding high in the saddle. Best of all, he and his buddies are on the hunt for adventure of some sort every weekend. Life is unfolding as if the script was written just for him. Then, in a harrowing moment on the switchbacks of a Montana mountain road, Will's world turns upside down. He must find the courage to confront the aftermath of his misfortune and the most dangerous encounter of all - his own fears. With his mom Beverly as his rock to lean on, Will re-assembles his reality. Kings and Cowboys is a poignant story of a young man who takes the "dis" out of disability.
