Laura Mori has found her calling as a detective, and she's eager to prove herself to the boy's club that is the Sunrise Lake PD. When she's assigned a bank heist to investigate, things look by the book. Until they don't. What everyone else sees as a simple robbery, Laura links back to a series of similar heists from the past known as Twilight. But the more she investigates, the more she realises her investigation is not welcome. And the only other young female cop on the force was killed during Twilight. Laura must get to the bottom of the case and fast, or she, too, will become history.
