Impact of Climate Change on Water Born Disease

Waterborne diseases are a major public problem in developing countries.The vast majority of rural areas get water from unprotected sources such as ponds, streams and wells. Water borne diseases are mostly prevalent in those areas that have poor sanitation and drinking water network. The situation in rural areas is so poor with respect to sanitation that even hospitals, whether governmental or private, participate in this process of letting the sewage out in the open without prior treatment.
