Immunological Response of Albino Rats to Killed Candida albicans

Immune-based prophylactic therapy of candidiasis and or candidemia is the potential strategy for the prevention and control of candida infection. The survival of immunized rats after intravenous infection is an indication of a total eradication of candida infection. This book highlights the immunological response as well the effect of vaccine in preventing this disease hence, reducing the problems of toxicity, resistance and cost from using chemotherapy.
