As the world spirals towards total war, the Australian government builds a survival shelter for a lucky few. The world they re-emerge into is bleak, empty and devastated. Angered by the damage wrought by men, society is soon dominated by women. They use genetic engineering to create a sub-race of obedient clones, and strictly control the fertility of the population.
