As a mom with young children, I struggled with two different problems. First, my kids were poor readers. Second, our family needed more quality time together.I decided to read a book aloud with my family, thinking that would help solve the first problem. Little did I know that it would solve both beyond my wildest expectations. After we finished the first novel, we set a goal to read one hundred books aloud together. It wasn't easy, and I had to find creative strategies to work through challenges as they arose.
