As an extremely fortunate New York teenager I miraculously managed to be swept up into the whole Flower Children, Hippy movement on the West Coast. My personal interest was in the music emanating from the youth of the Sixties. So free and alive with confident defiance. I was driven into a rock and roll existence beyond belief. We were deliciously delirious. Running rampant with the sheer joy of being alive. These were the Golden, Most Blessed, Days of Rock and Roll and the only time in history when the youth completely took control over the hypocrisy of the establishment. Go West firmly stands up and ultimately features the actual cause of Jimi Hendrix' death despite all unfounded discrepancies. This book ends the day Jimi died. A delicate and precious moment in time.
