Formation of Linguistic and Socio-Cultural Competence of Students

This work focuses on the use of social media to enhance the linguistic and sociocultural competence of higher education students. The object of the research is the process of learning a foreign language using social networks. The aim of the study is to explore how modern social networks can be used as an effective tool for developing students' linguistic and sociocultural competence in an educational context. The thesis includes an introduction, three chapters, a conclusion, and three appendices. The main body has 78 pages, excluding the appendices. A total of 56 sources were used in the research. The work features 9 tables, 36 pictures, and 10 graphs. The author demonstrates that the use of social networks contributes to the improvement of students' linguistic and sociocultural competence.
