This academically based study examines the results of a survey of nearly four hundred married women and attempts to identify key factors associated with a woman's happiness in her marriage. The data shows that a woman must first understand herself, her history, and her own tendencies before she sets out to make a match with Mr. Right. For example, some birth orders of men and women lead to happy marriages while others have very low happiness levels. Previous marriages, children, and religion all influence marital happiness. And, of course, a woman's sex life influences her happiness as well. The fact is most of the vital contributing factors to marital bliss can be observed before she gets married-and even before she finds Mr. Right.
