Everything Will Be Okay

Grief and loss are not happy topics to discuss. Unfortunately, both are experiences we cannot avoid. Tools, resources, and conversations surrounding grief and loss are necessary to help us navigate the challenges those experiences create. Loss covers a wide spectrum of circumstances, and this book, in particular, addresses the emotional whirlwind we experience when we lose loved ones.

This poem, Everything Will Be Okay, illustrates the experience of a family grieving the loss of a loved one. As the children grieve their grandmother, their parents grieve the loss of their mother. Together, they find a way to feel, process their emotions, hold on to old memories and create new memories that honor the woman they lost.
