This substantial volume, a thesis, surveys the production and typology of ceramic vessels, lamps and, to a lesser degree, decorative building material in Roman Africa during Late Antiquity. An extensive and illustrated catalogue of typology and chronology forms the bulk of the study, focusing on amphorae, fine wares, figurines, lamps and architectural mouldings.
