Dusk

Dusk; what more is there to say? It's all I could ever despise, and it's all a part of me. At the end of the day they say that 'family is all that matters'. They must not know who mine are. My family are nothing good to me. There's no question in this matter; they've left me a curse. A one way ticket to death, and I can't even thank them for it. My enemies are far more powerful than me and they crave something. I don't know what they want, but I don't care. I've survived what my parents put me through so I'll survive them. All I need is to know what they want from me and then I can end this tiresome charade. In the darkness of night where I prowl there must be the answers that I seek. There must be something other than danger and lingering death. There must be hope in some capacity, or I may well be doomed. The truth won't let us escape.
