The weather patterns are so severe but have governments been hiding the truth from us this whole time? Snow in October, in the south? The ecosystem is in serious danger and Ben Donovan loses his position with the EPA after asking too many questions in his Portland home and sets off to seek out answers, after his personal life also turns stormy and returns to his roots in moves Manhattan. While trying to uncover the secrets of the government and how a certain business has strong control over them, their motives for such inconsistencies in their stories, he seeks out his old friends who have new ones who join him on this quest for the reasons why and along the way meets another potential lover but are forced to deal with a much larger problem they are all facing as Mother Nature has already begun to fighting back. From leaked information that only they possess and which the company wants sealed at all costs they figure out how and why about the reason behind the changing weather patterns that are causing drastic nightmares in all areas of the country and globe and the government has turned a blind eye to it after loads of financial backing for campaigning lands in their pockets. The investigation Ben and his cohort goes deeper, more personal, and the cost becomes too much to bare but drives them even further down the house of deceits that only telling the truth will set them free.
