Destruction of cryo-frozen embryos

The advance of technologies has had an impact on all social spheres and, particularly, on medicine. With this, the emergence of new assisted reproduction techniques has generated new problems that the law must promptly address.Thus, it will be seen how the final destiny of cryopreserved embryos has become a sensitive issue that does not find a unique answer in the jurisprudence; and that in view of the legal vacuum regarding the legal situation of cryopreserved embryos, a prompt normative regulation is necessary.
