Cordelia and Mer are fun loving witches who live with their overly strict mother, bossy sister and a rather eccentric Gran. At home one night, a strange glowing and translucent book mysteriously appears before an astonished Cordelia. She reads the contents. They foretell of a terrible event that will soon put an end to theirs and every witch's carefree magic.
