Cold Stress and the Rescue Mechanisms in Plants

The monograph is a short communique about the cold stress observed in plants. Besides it also sheds light on the rescue/tolerance mechanisms exhibited by the plants to combat cold stress. The authors have further went on to describe the genes/proteins involed in the said process. Further a section of the book has been dedicated towards describing the phenomenon of "cold acclimation" that induces the plants to withstand extremely low temperatures.
