Cogh and The Machine: a children's book for adults

This is the story of Cogh, a recent college graduate who, by chance, gets hired by a huge multinational corporation. Through a clerical error on his first day of work the letter H is dropped from his name, putting him on the fast track to success, making him the darling of the C-suite, and giving him complete access to the surreal inner workings - and thinking - of the corporate machine. As he ascends the ladder to the top he is both attracted to and repelled by what he learns, is slowly torn in two, and with each career challenge bested sinks deeper into a state of near-madness.This is the story of how we got here, and where we're going next. It is the story of how many corporations now think, and how that translates into the current, untenable - and growing - state of dehumanizing inequality that is the inevitable byproduct of a wholly amoral, ungoverned and incredibly powerful corporate mindset that is far removed from it's benign and well-meaning capitalist, reward-for-hard-work roots.
