At the Sunset Elderly Living Facility, they say the residents are like family, but in this home people are dying before the sun goes down. Server-not-so extraordinaire and self-described home shopping pro, Jayne Stanford spends much of her tips as a server covering the cost of the glassware she breaks. Luckily, what she lacks in gracefulness, she makes up with her uncanny ability to remember odd details. When her co-worker's uncle dies suspiciously at Sunset, and his aunt goes missing in search of the truth, Jayne becomes entangled in the lives of the residents. Chaos clings to her like caramel on a sticky bun and her involvement at Sunset brings the crisis to a boil. The residents are in peril and time is running out. What does the murderer have to gain? Why would someone want to kill seniors? Jayne is determined to find out who it is before another person is short changed on golden years. The proof may just be in the pudding.
