Classification systems in oral & maxillofacial pathology

The specialty of Oral and Maxillo-facial Pathology deals with the understanding of etiology and pathogenesis of wide variety of diseases affecting not just the structures of the oral cavity but also the diseases (infectious, non infectious and neoplastic) affecting the other systems of the body having oral manifestations. The subject however includes a wide spectrum of such lesions which are classified into multiple categories by various authors. This book will basically focus on bringing together at one place, all the different classification systems of each category of disease/lesion/neoplasms proposed by various authors.This book is intended for: dental students of III B.D.S, PG students & Faculty of Oral & Maxillo-facial Pathology and dentists of other specialties to some extent.
