I was 23 when I launched my first business, a greeting card company, Chocolate Readings, which was later rebranded into a publishing company. I had no clue what I was doing. I didn't know any other women from the hood that were entrepreneurs. Since I didn't have money to hire a business coach, everything I've learned over the past 15 years came from experience. That experience allowed me to work with over 500 authors and generate over 6 figures.
