Freddy Dart awoke on the morning of his thirteenth birthday knowing how to fix America's dependence on fossil fuels. Over a birthday breakfast of toaster pancakes, he explained his nocturnal revelation to Carley, his older and late-for-work sister. "I saw Gramps last night, Carley. I know it was a dream, but it seemed so real. He told me if we don't start using renewable energy, America wouldn't last out the millennium. He told me to fix that problem we have to get our fuel from plants, big plants. He said the plants we have now won't do the trick, they must be bigger, much bigger.
