Beyond the Mountains of Elbat, is a tale about living with each other and the earth.

It is a fantasy tale about courage, friendship and tolerance. It is about different types of creatures, some mythic, some serious, some fantastic or silly, and all contributing to an exciting adventure in a land called Uma (Sanskrit word meaning splendour, tranquility, fame.)

A little girl and a little brown quail are the main characters who travel together to find the goddess Maia, who keeps the seasons in balance.
