Most pastors, especially coming out of the pandemic, are trying to find ways to engage their culture and reach young families. This book deals with the practical evangelism opportunities in today's wedding industry. David wants to call pastors and churches back into a world that the church used to be known for. This book deals with premarital counseling, evangelism, and getting the whole church.Young people typically leave the church after high school; they only return for weddings. Ironically, the church desperately tries to connect with the 18-30 demographic. The church bemoans the change in culture and, at the same time, struggles with practical ways to reach this culture. The church should return to and own the wedding industry, not watch from the sidelines. Weddings are a mission field, a church planter's dream side gig, and a terrific way to revitalize a dying church. Rev. Dr. David Anderson, Jr. has been a minister for thirty years. He pastors a mainline church in Northeast Ohio and leads a wedding ministry called WeddingChaplain.com. He has officiated over 1,500 weddings. He has served as a pastor, a church planter, and a school and hospice chaplain. David is married to Misty; they have seven children and one grandchild. He loves Star Wars, Marvel, and running. He is passionate about weddings and working with engaged couples.
