Aussie Bush Olympics
Kolbie Koala would love to participate in the Aussie Bush Olympics, and join the other animals on the day.
But everyone knows Kolbie is not good at sports... but does she go, and will she win the gumnut crown?
This heartwarming story conveys the importance of forgiveness, and an appreciation of our special uniqueness.
In this message, Jane Louise Barclay also explores self-belief, failure, courage, and persistence in overcoming adversity, and how God can use both our strengths and weaknesses for His good.
Also Included: a butterfly counting task on each page; the butterfly's life cycle; and a section explaining that God created butterflies and all people, unique and wonderful
Aussie Bush Olympics - Review
My three children, aged 3-5 years, love this gorgeously illustrated Aussie children's book. With a heart warming storyline, it shares a powerful message - the importance of being kind and caring rather than focusing on being the 'winner'. My children adore all of the outback bush animals, such as Kolbie Koala, Izzy Emu and their friends. For a little extra fun, there is a butterfly counting activity on each page. A beautiful message of God's love and forgiveness. I will be recommending this to all my friends and family with children. Bek
