Altar Working

The altar is more than "that place in the front of the sanctuary." The altar is Jesus Christ and the sacrifice is no longer animals, but people. The death is no longer by natural killing, but spiritual killing. The Lord now requires us to die to our flesh and sinful nature to receive salvation and deliverance. Then He gives us the ministry and message of reconciliation to bring others back to Him.The message of Altar Working is to reestablish the significance of the altar, the fear of the Lord, integrity and Spirit-led prayer in the hearts of believers and altar workers everywhere. This book is for all Christians who pray with others individually, in small groups or in a larger corporate setting. Their titles vary - prayer counselors, intercessors, ministers, altar workers, prayer warriors, etc.
