40 hadist Imam Nawawi

Arbain Nawawi or Al-Arba'in An-Nawawiyah is a book containing forty-two hadith of choice compiled by Imam Nawawi 1]. Arba'in means forty but actually there are forty-two traditions contained in this book. This book along with the book of Riyadhus Shalihin is regarded as the most famous and accepted work of Imam Nawawi accepted by Muslims throughout the world. This book became a favorite among student to start memorizing the Prophetic traditions before turning to the larger books.
