Reflections on My Journey Through Walden University

Individuals envisage specific outcomes based on the activities they engage in. The dreams of many holders of the doctorate are to catch teaching positions at any universities they might find. Therefore, an individual who pursues a teaching career at a university with a doctoral preparation may not be blamed. Oftentimes, diverse opportunities to excel do exist but the dream and lure of titles such as ''faculty'', ''professor'', ''dean'', etc. blind the eyes of several such doctorate holders. That thirst can only be quenched when they clinch university teaching positions and have a taste of the ''pudding''. Such was the experience of this author until the faculty jobs because real. Characteristic of such jobs, the attendant politics begin to rear up their ugly heads.

The author landed faculty teaching jobs and proved his mettle because he has been in the teaching arena for several years. To say that the university teaching arena was going to be navigable was an understatement. Incidentally, the taste of the pudding often differed from the looks of the pudding.  Here is a real-life story of the dreamer.

Dr. Frederick  Nwosu  is an  educator  born in   Igboland  on the   west  coast  of  Africa.  He  started  his   journey   as   an  education In  1975   when   he    became   a   Business teacher    at  a    secondary   school   in  his home  city.  He   pursued  corporate  career along   with   higher   education   while  also dabbling  into music and low-intensity acting. His  interest  in  education proved  to  tower above all  his other interests. Therefore,  he  went teaching  from  one  educational  level  to  another  across  the  United  States  he  began to teach doctoral students in the United States.

Professor Frederick Nwosu is an avid thinker, philosopher, and writer. He probably has more philosophical presentations than anything else. His doctoral specializations are Finance, Leadership, Research Methodology, and Management. While continuously conducting scholarly research into paradigms associated with his four specializations, he still finds time to philosophize on matters pertaining to life and living. One could regard Professor Frederick Nwosu as spiritual. Others would regard him as religious. Yet others may regard him as purely scientific. It is, therefore, difficult to conclude on his domain. His many mentees are in the best position to say what Professor Frederick Nwosu represents for them. Hearing their perspectives would make it even more difficult to conclude on the personality of the enigma called Professor Frederick Nwosu.

It is very telling that an individual who does more thinking than talking would cry out under the circumstances described in this work. This work may best be perceived as an exhalation in the face of tied hands.
