Inspired by the style of "e;One Hundred Views of Mount Fuji"e; ~ an ukiyo-e series of large, color woodblock prints by the Japanese artist Katsushika Hokusai (1760-1849) or "e;One Hundred Aspects of the Moon"e; by Tsukioka Yoshitoshi (1885-1892) the last great master of Ukiyo-e and "e;One Hundred Famous Views of Edo"e; ~ a series of ukiyo-e prints begun and largely completed by the Japanese artist Hiroshige (1797-1858). Also in the manner of Lawrence Ferlinghetti, the Beat Poets, Japanese Zen Poet Ikkyu and the Chinese poets Li Bo and Tu Fu from the Tang dynasty in China... Radical, Pensive. Meditative. Somber.
