Betty Jo is beyond excited when she learns her son, Air Force Lieutenant Colonel Ethan Breedlow, has received orders transferring him from the Pentagon to the Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay, Georgia. His new assignment will bring her three precious grandchildren closer. Unfortunately, it will also bring Chloe, her daughter-in-law who has never been a fan of hers, closer. Without warning, Ethan's orders are changed sending him far away and leaving his family stranded. Betty Jo takes her three young grandchildren along with Chloe into her home.
