The story explains briefly how the earth was formed after the Big Bang, how earth's ocean water collected on the earth's surface and how marine plants provided oxygen necessary for animal life. The difference between asteroids, meteors and meteorites is explained. Finally, it is reasoned how a giant 6 mile high meteorite created a prehistoric volcano that killed most land animals, plants and marine animals.
