Being sisters always means you have backup. After Selena loses both of her parents in a tragic house fire, Gloria's parents take her in as their own. While struggling with the death of her parents, Selena struggles with suicidal thoughts and drug addiction. Gloria becomes sick and is diagnosed with lung cancer. The girls, who went from being best friends to sisters, fight together to get through their struggles. Each girl fights demons, while never leaving each other's side.
