• With the permission of the landowner, wild camping is legal, otherwise not so.
• But if out of sight as they say, out of mind.
• Leave nothing behind except your footprints and take nothing except photos.
• Obviously beware if you make a fire to extinguish it when you have finished, and cover any holes you dig carefully.
• That said wild camping is hugely enjoyable, with the added bonus that you are totally free.
• You will, once the bug bites (not literally we hope), continue to wild camp many, many times.
• This logbook allows you to record 120 such occasions.
• With a checklist reminder, leaving tent poles at home (did that), shouldn't happen.
