Whiteout tells the story of Daniel, a young boy who has recently lost his parents in a deadly snowstorm. Still grieving over the loss of his parents and struggling to adjust to his adopted family - among whom he feels like an outsider - Daniel runs away from home one fateful night, just as a powerful blizzard strikes the neighborhood.
