Stella leaves behind the quiet familiarity of her old life in Monte Rosa for a fresh start in Stockholm. Moving into the apartment next door to her father’s, she dreams of starting over – of freedom, distance from the past, and the vibrant pulse of city life.

Peter, newly divorced, is finally chasing the dream he once set aside: opening his own neighborhood bistro. He’s looking forward to a simpler, freer life – and maybe even love. But with Stella unexpectedly by his side, he finds himself torn between single life and fatherhood in a new city.

One morning, they bump into each other in the stairwell, each with a guest from the night before. They realize how little they really know about one another.
