Victoria Van Wyck has always been a super-rich wild child with a penchant for being a little more free-spirited than anyone else. But when her parents become the targets of international assassins, Victoria is forced to flee from her exclusive high school in Switzerland to the anonymity of small town America-Wahoo, Nebraska, to be specific. There, under an assumed name, Victoria finds "e;normal"e; life almost too unbearable to contemplate . . . But with new friends, new confidence, and a new sense of (could it be?) responsibility, Victoria discovers that the middle of nowhere can have charm-or at least interesting challenges-all its own.
