WWI is now in full swing and with their brothers away fighting the Graham sisters have an increasingly important role to play at the family smock mill. But while Daisy and her cousin Olive are both nursing and Holly has taken on the role of a busy mother and wife, Cynthia is stretched to her ends trying to help her husband keep the business afloat.
