Wally gets a tummy ache!
Wally gets a tummy ache is a beautifully illustrated story book with a very important life lesson: the dangers of being greedy and not sharing. The story features warthogs and is set on an African game farm.
Wally lives with his family on a game farm, where the warthogs spend most of their day looking for food. His mother likes to collect berries as a special treat for her little ones. The problem is that berries are Wally's favourite food.
One day the warthog family is taking a nap, but Wally lies awake thinking about the pile of berries lying nearby. He quietly sneaks off to eat one, which surely no one will notice. Then he eats another. And another and another until he has eaten all of them. Now his tummy is so full it feels like it is going to burst.
His moaning and crying in pain makes the family very worried about him. But then his mother sees that all the berries are gone. She asks him where they are and he admits to eating every last one. His mother says he cannot eat another berry for a week because of his greedy behavior. Wally learns his lesson and never takes a berry again without asking.
