In chapters "e;Conviction"e;, "e;Practice: Family"e;, "e;Practice: School"e; and "e;Policies"e;, the author shares some stories of and reflections on his transformation from a teacher to a promoter of educational policies before becoming a principal.The author believes that education is not only an "e;occupation"e;, but also a "e;profession"e; and a meaningful and significant "e;vocation"e; that can enrich one's life.Education cannot do without mutual trust, which is built on communication and understanding.With these reflections on education the author hopes to transcend the limits of time and space and communicate more with students, colleagues and fellow educational practitioners.
