Typewriting to Heaven and Back is a memoir by Karen Kaplan, whose old Royal Typewriter becomes the catalyst for some heartfelt conversations with her father, who passed away ten years previously. Typewriting to Heaven...and Back was my way of healing from the loss of my dad. Perhaps each of us is secretly seeking to understand death and also heal our hearts. I found that I could accomplish this through typing conversations with my dad.
