Two visions in national and economic planning

This book includes two different visions of the subject of economic planning, an Egyptian vision and a Western vision. Despite the unity of the subject discussed by the two economic researchers, and despite their different locations, one is English with American origins and the other is Egyptian, the two visions are complementary. The Egyptian researcher, Dr. Kamel Abdel Maqsoud Bakri, focuses on the planning process itself, its mechanisms and objectives, while the British researcher Sir Arthur Lewis focuses on the importance of planning for the success of the economic development process. Thus, the two visions are complementary despite the differences between them. Contrast, so we decided to bring them together in one book for widespread benefit and to make the two visions available together for new researchers.
