In Trevor Lane and the Civil War, Book Three of the Luke Taylor Trevor Lane Series, Trevor Lane escaped from a Confederate prison and was found injured by Margret Wright and her two children. He was more dead than alive, but Margret nursed him back to health, and a close bond of friendship formed between them.
