Touched with Fire

This anthology introduces students to a wide range of poetry -from the last four hundred years and provides them with guidance on how to approach poetry examinations. The 132 poems, by both well-known and lesser-known poets ranging from 16th century to contemporary writers, represent the great variety in poetry - from the passionate to the lighthearted -and are presented without annotations so that the teacher and student can work on the poems together. The anthology is divided into six collections of poems, and after each the editor has included guidance sections to help students in writing about poetry.
