Today Informs Tomorrow

The influx of immigrants to the U.S. has driven the growth of English language learners and the need for educators who are skilled in teaching this unique group of learners. I am grateful to be the teacher of such a group of children. All my students are unique individuals who come to my class with both strengths and weaknesses. We all have something to teach and something to learn. The authors of this book are my eleventh-grade students who were inspired by me to tell the world how they feel about the genres they were exposed to as a part of their narrative.
