Thoughts of an Awakening Millennial: New Aware

Being different is what makes you beautiful, and being you is what makes all the difference. All my life I was holding on to a feeling. You know, those ones you can't quite explain. Sometimes feeling like life was going in slow motion as the world was passing by. Like a feeling, that there is something missing. Too many pressures drowning it out. Something within, something more. Who are we really deep inside?

Becoming an adult is not easy, I know this well. How do we become someone we can love and admire? Why do so many people just sell their dreams out for the things in life that just won't ever bring them happiness? How do we take our place in this world and make the difference we know we were meant to make?

What would you do if life gave you a second chance? I'll tell you what I did. I got fed up with who everyone told me to be, and I want to share with you my story. This was so special to me. I had to find out. How can I share this with you? To make a difference in YOUR life.

There is a dreamer in us all, the question is will you unlock all you could ever imagine? There is a philosopher and poet inside us all, just waiting for that artist you locked up long ago to be freed and paint the world in a million different colors. These are the things that make us feel human. The things that make us feel alive.

Nothing worthwhile is said to be easy. Becoming boldly you is the very first step in the journey of love and adventure. My story is how I defied the person I was told to be and created the one I wanted to become.
