Theory of evolution and the origin of man

Since the beginning of human existence on Earth, major questions have haunted man, one of which is the question of origin or center, or what the Greeks called "Logos." People have differed among themselves in answering this question; atheists have attributed it to nature/matter, and religious people have attributed it to the Creator. The theory of evolution is a biological philosophical theory with natural material foundations that trace man back to a material origin. It is one of the major theories that achieved great popularity in the West in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. Although Darwin limited the use of the theory to the biological field, it has turned into a philosophy and a worldview upon which a significant heritage of both social and natural sciences is based.
