The reason for the walkers was to explain the different ways people viewed psychics and their gifts.This was followed by the drifters which showed the many ways souls progress towards the light.This led to the final journey, which explains what happens to the absorption of the soul into the essence of the Creator.First two books were based on facts and experience while the third one, as yet unproven, is theoretical.
