Valerie Hale was on a mission to discover answers in the disappearance of three intergalactic colonies. They had gone to different planets over the last year and a half. All three settlements had disappeared within four weeks of being built. No communication from anyone. No one was found at any of the sites when spaceships were sent to check on them. No signs of a struggle or fighting. The only clue was a thick, sticky material that was similar to a spider's webbing but a thousand times stronger. What the hell was going on?
